What happens in Vegas...ends up on the Backstreet.

I went to the first two show of the boys residency in Vegas. This was my first time in Vegas and it was amazing! If you have the chance to go....do it! You won't be disappointed I promise!

I flew from Buffalo to Vegas(with a stop in Philly and LA.) Made it to Vegas on Feb 27th late. Met up with Marge and we got lost(sort of) in the Vegas airport which turned out to be okay because we ran into Howie. Not a bad a way to start out our Vegas vacation.

Now onto why most are probably reading this....the actual show. It was AMAZING! The production, the costumes, the songs, the dances, the dancers and lets not forget the boys. It was VERY well put together. I know some don't want spoilers so I won't share the songs they sing but I was good with the set list minus the 1 song I wish they'd stop performing forever. (And no it's not I want it that way. LOL) I'm not sure if every show will have little differences or not because a things(props, costumes, ect.) changed from opening night to the 2nd night. But I know sometimes things don't always run smoothly on opening night so that could be it. Anyways, for the first show I was in section 103 row C and the 2nd show I was in the (left) pit. I prefer the pit but honestly it doesn't seem like there's a bad seat in that place.

I did VIP/Meet-n-Greet both days. The first day as expected it was a hot mess and unorganized but eventually they seemed to have gotten their shit together. Someone said there was about 150 VIPs the first night but to me it seemed like a lot more but I'm not sure. It was sort of rushed but really at the end of the day it is what you make it. You got to hug each of the boys and say something to each of them(unless of course a certain boy *I'm looking at you Brian* distracted you from that. LOL) And then you take the picture and they whisk you away, until Kevin calls you back to inform you that you didn't hug him. Well Mr. Richardson, if you insist. ;) I've had a lot of fans ask if I think VIP is worth it and I'm sort of on the fence about it. If you've never met them I say do it if you can, Even if you have met them it can be fun and it sometimes seems like you get a few extra moments with them if they "know" you or recognize you, at least that's how it seems to me. But you only live once so if you think its worth it and can then I say go for it! They won't let you bring gifts in for the boys, they'll make you check them at the door in the little coat room thing and give you a ticket to get it at the end of the show.

It's funny to me because I don't do it on purpose but some how I always seem to manage to forget to say something to one of the boys during the Meet-n-Greet. Sometimes I'll admit its because I have Littrell vision and tend to talk to him more but sometimes it's not even because of that. The first M&G Brian was first and he hugged me asked me about a video I posted that he saw which was super hilarious. We talked about a few other things, then he told me he liked my BSB hoodie which made AJ say "Yeah me too." And then we took the picture then I went down the line and hugged Nick and Howie.

The 2nd M&G I told Brian how it was stupid that I had stuff for him and couldn't bring it in. He said he was sorry. AJ liked my shirt. Brian and AJ both commented that they liked my sneakers. I actually hugged all the boys this time but don't remember saying anything to them except Brian and AJ. LOL

But those 5 boys are seriously 5 of the most humbled, kind, giving, down to earth people I have ever met. So blessed to be a fan.

It seemed for the 1st show at least that a lot of fans didn't know about the VIP lounge thing or they didn't have time to use it but it got better the 2nd night so I'm sure as the shows roll on it'll get better and better. They had drinks and snacks and I thought I heard someone say there was a cake but I never got a chance to see it.

I always hope they will add Siberia to the set list but every tour I get let down because they don't. But this show they do 3 of my top 5 favorite songs so that's a plus. :)

I also just gotta say that Brian Thomas Littrell you seriously are AMAZING. (If you happen to read this) ALL of the boys sounded incredible and while I'm not trying to discredit the other 4 boys most fans know about the vocal struggles that Brian has been having as of late but my goodness he sounded INCREDIBLE in Vegas. I had tears of joy. So proud of that man. The fact he has put so much into this fight and isn't backing down says so much about the character he is as human being. He inspires me so much to never give up on anything no matter how tough it may seem. Hard work does pay off and don't for one second Brian that it has gone unnoticed because it hasn't. Keep up the amazing work. YOU ROK!

The after party was a little crazy. I only went because Brian told me he'd be there. And he kept his word and he was there. I've had fans ask me if  I know if he'll go to more and I don't know that answer. If I had to guess I would say no, but who knows maybe he'll surprise the fans and go to some more. All the boys were up on the little bar thing in the VIP area, fans who were up close were able to snag some selfies with the guys. But all the pushing and shoving and whatever else isn't really worth it to me. But if that's your kind of fun go for it.

Vegas over all was a lot of fun. I can't wait to go back in April to see the show again for my birthday.

If we are friends on Facebook/instagram/twitter then you have seen some of my pics posted. Hope you enjoyed them along with this blog. :)

*I tried to add pictures to this only it wouldn't let me for some reason. So I'll try again later. For now hopefully everyone enjoys my blog anyways without some pictures.*

A Disaster of a birthday in NYC! (4/16/16-4/17/16)

So this year I decided I wanted to do something fun/different for my birthday. My original plan was to go to LA with some friends, due to some unexpected things that didn't happen so I decided to go for plan B which was go back to NYC to see Baylee Littrell star on Broadway in Disaster! I saw the show twice in March and it was hilarious both times. So it sounded like the perfect birthday. See the show, see some friends and see a city I love.

It was a quick trip but it was still filled with so many amazing memories with amazing people. Definitely the best birthday ever. :)

I took a bus this time because it was cheaper than flying. I left Buffalo at about 2:30am on Saturday and made it to NYC at about 11am. Walked around the city a bit until I was supposed to meet up with friends. That took a bit longer than first thought so I went and saw the afternoon show of Disaster at 2pm. That was my 3rd time seeing the show.

It gets funnier and funnier every time I see it. I won't share anything that happens in it because I don't wanna ruin it for anyone, but if you have the chance to see it you should. It's HILARIOUS!!! Baylee and Jennifer are my favorites but the entire cast does an amazing job.

While I was waiting in line for the 2pm show I saw Brian and Baylee run into the theater....I think they were running late....I guess its safe to say Brian passed on "Backstreet Time" to his son. ;) LOL

So after the show I went outside to go meet up with Jaime and her cousin. We found somewhere to eat. After that we went back to the theater to see the 8pm show but this time it was pretty cool because we got to sit with Brian and Leighanne. :)

We waited outside and a few minutes later we saw Brian, Leighanne and Baylee walk up. Leighanne took Baylee inside and Brian came over to us and gave us our tickets and said he'd see us inside. He hugged us and told me "Happy Birthday."  I told him "nice hat." And he said "I wore it for you....for your birthday." :)

So we went and got in line and eventually made it into the theater. A short time after Brian snuck up behind us and asked if we wanted something to drink or a snack. He told me I had to have a drink for my birthday....OK! Brian if you insist. ;) LOL So a few minutes later him and Leighanne came with drinks and sat next to us. We had a toast for my birthday. We chatted a bit before the show actually started about random stuff, the play, ect.

Then it was time for the show to start. It was pretty cool sitting next to Brian although it was hard to not wanna turn and look next to me because he was singing along to all the songs and who doesn't love when Brian sings? Every so often I would think to myself "OMG I'm sitting next to a Backstreet Boy." LOL It was also precious looking over and seeing how much pride and joy Brian and Leighanne both had on their faces as they watched their son on Broadway. So awesome.

So after the show we got up to leave or so we thought and Brian turned to us and said "Do you wanna go on stage and meet some of the cast?" Who's gonna say no to that? So we did. As we made our way backstage and then on stage some people stopped Brian to ask for pictures and I just thought it was cool. So eventually we made it on stage. Some of the cast from the play was still up there, some of them had friends or family with them they were talking to and stuff. We were standing up there with Brian waiting for Baylee. Eventually he came out and we were all just hanging out chatting.

It was funny the one guy from the play Max Crumm(Scott) saw my bag(Wylee of course) and said he liked it and asked where I got it from and I pointed to Brian and said "His wife made it." And he said "seriously?" So he started asking me a bunch of questions about it, then he started asking Brian about it and then eventually when Leighanne came out he asked her about it as well. LOL

So after we talked and just hung out a bit we took pictures before it was time to leave.

It was kind of cool taking pictures while on stage. Now I can say I was on a Broadway stage...with Broadway stars....Oh and a Backstreet Boy. ;) LOL

Brian said we needed a "close up" so we did. LOL

When I went to take a picture with Baylee, Leighanne asked if I wanted just Baylee or Baylee and Brian and I said "Just Baylee remember he's my favorite." And Leighanne said "I thought I was your favorite?" And I said "you are! But out of Brian and Baylee....Baylee is my new favorite now." And Brian pretended to pout.

After that Brian said "now one with the boys." LOL

Then we took a few group pictures before it was time to go.

So then we left the stage and went to leave but we stopped in the lobby and chatted for a bit more when Baylee was gonna go out to the stage door to sign autographs...Baylee was tired and didn't really wanna go sign autographs but eventually he did after an adorable pep talk from Brian. Seeing Brian in dad mode is the most precious thing on the planet. :)

Right before we left I asked Brian if he could sing me Happy Birthday and I record it so I could play it the next day for my actual birthday and he said we could sing together and I told him that's not how birthdays work that you don't sing to yourself and plus he can sing better than me. So he sang to me and it was the best thing ever!!!!

So after that we said our goodbyes and left.

I became a Backstreet Boys fan at the age of 12....if someone told me back then that one day I'd be sitting in a theater in NYC next to a Backstreet Boy (and his wife) watching his son star on Broadway I would have told them they were crazy.

After seeing the play we decided to go to the Empire State Building. I've never been there so it was cool to see even at night all the lights and stuff. So cool.

I was actually at the top of the Empire State Building when it turned midnight and it was my birthday! :)

So after that I went and met up with another friend Sarah and her friend and went back to her house.

The next day I woke up to a lot of birthday messages:
For breakfast we went to a cupcake shop and I had a cupcake for breakfast. Cupcakes are always a good idea for breakfast but even better when its your birthday!!!

After that we went to a Green expo thing where they had different samples and stuff and met up with some of Sarah's friends. Then we walked A LOT to see the high line and Chelsea Market and then after that we met up with another friend and went to Shake shack to eat before going to the movies to see the Jungle Book. It was my first time seeing a movie in 3-D and IMAX and it was pretty cool. Jungle book was a pretty cool movie. The best part though was getting an Icee!!!!

After that I made my way to Port Authority to catch my bus back home. My bus left at about 10:30pm and I made it home Monday morning about 5:30am.

It was definitely an incredible birthday I will never forget. I am thankful and grateful to everyone who was a part of it. It was amazing.

And I don't know if Brian and Leighanne will ever read any of this but just in case you do Thank you for always treating me so well and going above and beyond. It is appreciated more than you ever will know and I will forever be thankful and grateful for every moment, every memory. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

And Jamie and Sarah it was a blast hanging with you two and your friends. I can never thank the Backstreet Boys enough for blessing with some great friends. :) Thanks again for everything!

Thankful for BSB: Brian Littrell edition....Part 5.

Part 5 of my Thankful for BSB blog features Brian Thomas Littrell. Having written blogs about the other 4 boys I guess you would think my Thankful for BSB blogs are over but that is not the case. One final blog will be coming.....stay tuned until the end to find out who it'll be about. ;)

Now it's easy for me to write about Brian because he's my favorite. So I will attempt to keep it short, sweet and to the point....not making any promises though. ;)

Brian has always been my favorite...first I heard that voice....then I saw what he looked like....then I got to know him. Add that all together how could he NOT be my favorite? ;) He sure does make it easy to like him. At least I think so. LOL

First thing is I appreciate how honest and real Brian is. He keeps it real no matter what, even when others in the group, management, ect. try and tell him not to. After all honesty is the best policy. ;)

Brian as a dad is seriously one of the most precious things I've seen. I dunno what it is about those Kentucky boys and kids but my goodness. Just the way he is with Baylee and the way he looks at him his eyes light up with pure joy every single time. It's adorable. I know Brian always used to say he wanted a bunch of kids and it's no ones business but his and Leighanne's on why they only have 1 but I think it's quite fitting that Brian was only blessed with one child and he is practically his mini me. It just makes my heart smile. :)  I often wonder how it makes Brian feel when he sees his little mini me following in his foot steps and singing like him. I'm sure when he became a Backstreet Boy he never dreamed that eventually his son would be opening for him and the rest of the guys. But it is beyond precious. :)

The love Brian has for Leighanne is incredible....even if I might be a tad jealous.....just kidding....kind of....but seriously it's refreshing and wonderful to see 2 people so in love after all these years especially celebrities, that doesn't happen often these days.

Overall I just love how positive the Littrell family is. I know some think its too much. But why? In a world filled with so much negativity I'll take all the positive-ness I can get. Does it mean they have a perfect life? Hardly. They just choose not to air their laundry in public for the world to see. Which is another admirable quality. Let's not forget Brian wasn't expected to live so every day he's here is a miracle and a blessing and Brian obviously knows that and tries to remain positive as much as possible.

His looks....my goodness. He is in my opinion the most beautiful human being I have ever laid my eyes on. Those piercing blue eyes, that killer smile, that jawline. Not to mention his body....I know he doesn't show it off that much but the times he has....HELLO! For a guy who just turned 40 he is in great shape.

Hair.....as I mentioned in my Kevin post that I blame him for my hair fetish....well.....it spilled over to Brian as well. With his latest hair style his hair just looks so soft.....and it is. ;) LOL And his facial hair. I'm not a facial hair girl but somehow it works for Brian. It's like his face was made for it and I love it. LOL

Sort of a touchy subject as of late....Brian's voice. His voice was the first one I really noticed and it has been my favorite ever since. It absolutely breaks my heart to see him going through the struggles he currently is going through but I admire him SO much for not giving up and fighting to working hard to get better.

His faith. He's taught me so much through him just talking about his faith and his solo music. Because of him through his music I have discovered so many other amazingly talented Christian artists and I am forever thankful and grateful to Brian for that. His music is amazing and inspiring. No matter what type of day I'm having I turn on his music and it instantly lifts my spirits. His voice is so calming and soothing and the words are inspiring as well.

His energy. He's like a giant ball of energy. He's always going. And I love how silly he loves to be. But when its time to be serious he can be.

His passion for things. Like sports. When he gets on a subject where he is excited or passionate about it he reminds me of one of those wind up toys....the more he talks about it the more he gets wound up and then he just goes. LOL Not to mention he's super competitive. To the point where sometimes I'm seriously intimidated by him. I'd be scared to be on his team in a game in fear I'd do bad and he'd be mad but at the same time I wouldn't wanna be on the opposite team because he's so competitive and good. LOL

How he is with the fans. It amazes me how generous and giving he is...of things....time....everything. Now I am not taking anything away from the other guys or I'm not trying to say they don't give to the fans, ect. But I think I am more aware of it with Brian because of how incredible he has treated me over the years. It just blows me away. I could NEVER thank him enough for all that he's done for me. Incredible.

And I'll end this Brian blog with his kicks. I've never seen someone love sneakers until Brian started to. Maybe he started a trend? AJ seemed to hop on after. I kid...I kid....LOL I really would love for him to take a video of his sneaker collection because I'm sure its Larger than life. Baylee once told me that Brian has boxes and boxes and boxes of sneakers around the house. He also told that he(Baylee) has more sneakers than his father. Yikes. LOL

So for those reasons and more I am thankful for Brian and he will forever and always be my favorite boy. But again as I've said in my other blogs if any of these 5 men weren't in this group together In a world like this it would suck. ;)

And that concludes my blogs about how thankful I am for each guy or what I like or admire about them, ect. Stay tuned for one final blog featuring all 5 boys as a group. Stay tuned....

Thankful for BSB: Kevin Richardson Edition....Part 4.

So 2 boys left to write about for my Thankful for BSB blogs.....That would be those Kentucky Cousins....

This blog features the tall, dark and handsome one of the group.....Mr. Kevin Richardson.

Where to begin? I'll begin by being honest....when I was younger and I was a fan I feel I didn't fully appreciate Kevin....and believe me I feel bad for that. But in my defense I was young. Being a fan at 12 or 13 to me Kevin seemed like he was 40 then(Sorry Kev) and liking someone in their 40's seemed weird to me. LOL But as I got older(as did Kevin) it seemed okay...I dunno where the logic in that really is because he'll always be the same amount of years older than me but that's my story and I'm sticking to it.
I also know some fans who weren't very happy that he was coming back after he left the group, I was actually one of those fans...at first. I know, I know bad fan. But I was more annoyed with the timing than anything. But after seeing Kevin and seeing how happy and sincere he seemed about it I quickly changed my tune. And I am beyond happy he is back. He seems happy. The boys seem happy. And that's all that matters. :)

I love Kevin and how honest and real he is. He has never been one to shy away from telling it like it is...similar to his cousin....I haven't decided yet if its just the Kentucky in their blood or the way they were raised...maybe both of those go hand in hand...whatever it is I like it and I respect it.

It's no secret Kevin adores his wife and sons and it couldn't be more adorable. Kevin in dad mode is one of the cutest things I have EVER seen. Kevin baby talking to his son Maxwell.....ADORABLE. It's refreshing to see Kevin and Kristin still together and in love after all this time, that's hard to come by in general...even harder in the celebrity world. I love it.

Kevin's voice. So soulful, deep and beautiful. I really can't wait to hear more solo stuff from him. The cover of "Back to your heart" he did on the 2013(I think) Backstreet Boys cruise was breathtakingly beautiful. Bring me some more of that please and thank you sir.

You know I can't talk about Kevin without talking about his fabulous hair......I mean it IS the reason I believe I've developed a hair fetish. LOL But have you seen that head of hair? It's so soft....fluffy....and beautiful....like a pillow you just wanna take a nap on it. I wish I was lying. LOL

Those eyes......he is definitely a good looking man. Those Littrell genes are good.(For those thinking that's a typo....Brian's dad and Kevin's mom are brother and sister and Brian is good looking too so I choose to believe that the Littrell gene is the common factor. LOL) Have you ever looked Kevin in the eyes? It's like he's piercing a hole through your soul.....you know you should probably look away but you can't. My goodness.

Lastly I'm appreciative for Kevin because of what he does for others.....two people come to mind right away when thinking of this. First if it wasn't for Kevin Brian wouldn't be in the group so I can't thank him enough for making "the call" to Brian. That alone would make me love Kevin but there's a bunch of other reasons to love Kevin too. ;)

I also am thankful that he said what he said to AJ....at the time it might have looked mean....but as Kevin says it was out of love and if it wasn't for Kevin who knows where AJ might be right now. SO thank you Kevin for knocking down AJ's door....literally. LOL

So as I've said with all my other posts I love all 5 men and without all 5 of them in the group and in my life it would definitely be a Weird world. ;)

Hope you enjoyed this. :)

And on that note stay tuned for Part 5 of my Thankful for BSB blog featuring the other half of the Kentucky cousins none other than Brian Thomas Littrell.....coming soon. :)

Thankful for BSB: Howie Dorough Edition....Part 3.

By now if you are reading these blogs you see the theme of them. But if not I'll share a bit on what I'm doing.....

Leading up to Thanksgiving I am sharing a blog about each boy from the Backstreet Boys and what I like about them, what they mean to me, ect. 2 down....3 more to go. First up was Nick, followed by AJ and now we are onto the Latin Lover of the group.....Howie D.

A lot of fans especially Howie fans tend to say Howie is skipped over a lot or underrated. To a point I agree with this. But that doesn't mean I don't appreciate him. And the ones who do skip over him or don't appreciate him are just missing out. ;)

So what is there to say about Howie D? Well they don't call him Sweet D. for nothing. He'd probably give you the shirt off his back, literally if you asked him. He's always the one who seems to be the man in the middle trying to make both sides see eye to eye in any situation. Sometimes that's not the best job to have but it has its perks as well.

Have you seen how he looks? Are we sure he's in his 40's? He's like fine wine, he gets better with age. Maybe his Irish roots? Maybe its his Latin roots? Maybe it's a secret he's not telling anyone....you know he's stealth like that. ;) But whatever it is, it's working for him.

His voice? Personally I love his voice, when it's used properly. Sometimes I think they(producers, ect) force him into parts he doesn't sound good singing. But when they give him parts that suit him my goodness he sounds amazing. For example......Trouble is, What makes you different.....just to name a few.

And his solo music? I'll be honest I didn't think I would like it. But after hearing it I was completely wrong. I love it...with the exception of 1 or 2 songs. But overall I think he did incredible. My favorite song is "Going, going, gone." Looking forward to hearing more solo music from Mr. Howie D. in the future.

I love what he's done with charity work after losing his sister to Lupus back in 1998. I know other fans who have been to events with Howie for his charity stuff and I've never NOTHING but good things about it. It's also great seeing celebrities give back when they can.

I love how down-to-earth and normal Howie is. Like when he posts pictures of how he's attending a concert or something. I mean I know celebrities are real people too, but you know what I mean....I hope. ;)  I also know he's not the only one who does such things but I don't know, I guess I just have a soft spot in my heart for when Howard does it. HeHeHe

Howie the dad...well....I'm indifferent on Howie the dad. It's kind of hard to explain. Maybe it's because Howie doesn't talk about them a lot.....or at least I don't see it. Or he doesn't bring his family out on the road like others, ect.  But its always adorable seeing a man(at least to me) in dad mode. And Howie is no different.

Again....just like I've said about Nick and AJ....without Howie in the group I would be Inconsolable. ;)

Hope you enjoyed my thoughts about the Sweet one of the group. Stay tuned for Part 4 featuring the tall, dark and handsome one of the group.....Mr. Kevin Scott Richardson. :)

Thankful for BSB: AJ McLean Edition........Part 2.

So if you read my first blog in this series you know that I am eventually writing a blog for each boy and why I like them. ect. The first one featured the baby of the group Nick...this one is featuring the "bad boy" of the group....AJ McLean.....

So here goes nothing.....

So from the outside AJ looks like a bad boy with all those tattoos, facial hair, crazy hair, piercings, ect. But if you've ever actually met AJ and talked to him you would soon find out he is one of the biggest sweet hearts on the planet.

Sometimes being a sweetheart can lead to not so good things. AJ had learned that lesson the hard way in some cases but one of the things I love about him is that it doesn't stop him from loving with his whole heart. :)

Another thing I've always loved about AJ is how he always marched to the beat of his own drum. He was the one with the crazy hair, crazy clothes, ect. and he never cared if it wasn't the cool thing to do. He liked it, so he did it. Way to be original AJ.

Now onto that voice of his. He has that sexy, soulful, raspy voice. After Brian's voice his has always been my favorite in the group. It's usually filled with so much passion and emotion. And when that voice blends with the other boys? My goodness its magical.

As for his solo work, nothing against him personally it's just some of it just isn't my style.  There's a few songs I love like London, Hate it when you're gone, Life is just to name a few.  But I do like that he is going out and doing his own thing. Especially with his latest project of "Live together." Such a positive message, if only more of the world was jumping on the band wagon. But I guess you got to start somewhere.

It's kind of ironic AJ is the only boy(so far) to have the only Backstreet baby that is a girl. Perhaps that is some kind of joke because of his player days? Who knows. But it is adorable to see AJ dress up for tea parties, ect with his little girl. And I know AJ will do anything to protect his baby and he'll be fighting off the boys when she gets older. LOL

I know AJ has helped a lot of fans overcome certain things and again he hasn't really helped me personally over come addictions or anything like that but to see him eventually realize he had a problem and to to get help was incredible and I know he's inspired others to seek the help that they needed as well.

And again no matter how much I like one boy over another, ect, I am forever and always grateful it is was these 5 boys that make up the Backstreet Boys because I really wouldn't want it.....Any other way. ;) Yeah....yeah.....cheesy way to end it with more song lyrics but it works. ;) LOL

So I hope you enjoyed this post about AJ..........

Stay tuned for part 3 coming soon featuring none other than......The Latin Lover himself Howie D. ;)

Thankful for BSB: Nick Carter Edition......Part 1.

So I decided to do a series of blogs to express why I like each Backstreet Boy and what they mean to me, ect. I figured it was a fitting time being that Thanksgiving is right around the corner. The final blog will be a group one expressing how I feel about them as a whole. :) So if you are interested here goes nothing....

First up is the baby of the group.....Nick Carter....

So lately it seems to be a common theme for some fans to assume that I hate Nick....well you know what they say when you assume? ;) LOL But in all seriousness I promise I don't hate the guy....is he my favorite? No. But I do like him. And I honestly couldn't see the Backstreet Boys being the Backstreet Boys without him so for that reason alone I like him. But I promise there's other things I like about him. And I'll share those things below...

I love  how passionate he is about things. No matter what it is. Seeing him fan boy over things to me is pretty cool because it's like he understands what we feel when us fans fan girl over him or the other guys.

I am a HUGE football fan. My team is the Buffalo Bills. (Fun fact: Nick's first favorite team was the Buffalo Bills.) I love them win or lose. I see Nick do the same with the Tampa Bay Bucs. It's cool to see that as well because I understand how frustrating it can be when your team loses a lot. Not that you'll ever read this Nick but come back and talk to me about frustrating when your favorite team goes to the Super Bowl FOUR TIMES IN A ROW and loses them all. :) LOL

Now he hasn't personally helped me overcome anything really as an individual really but I know so many other fans, some who I consider friends have Nick to thank for not giving up on life, love, ect. and that brings them so much joy and seeing them happy makes me happy. One of my favorite things in life is seeing others happy. :) But the boys as a group with their music, ect has helped me overcome so many things and Nick was a part of that but that's another story....for another post so stay tuned. ;)

Seeing him act silly and goofy is great as well. Life is so short as it is you might as well have some fun and laugh along the way. Whether it's one of his Nick Corner videos he used to make or pulling a prank on someone it's great to see him be a kid at heart.

Although I don't particularly agree with some of Nick's personal choices when it comes to the whole sex, drugs, alcohol, ect. I do have to give him credit for realizing he had a problem before it was too late and he ended up dead like so many other young, talented celebrities. I also thought it was great that he wrote a book to try and use something that was not necessarily a good thing and spin it into something that could benefit others. Sometimes some people forget that celebrities are real people and they make mistakes, ect just like everyone else.

His voice. I like it. Even more so these days when it sounds more mature and stuff. A lot of his stuff as a solo artist isn't my cup of tea, style wise but he does have some great songs. I own Now or Never, favorite song off that CD is "I got you." And I even own "I'm taking off." Favorite song on that CD is "Falling down." To me both of those songs are such powerful songs. I also like his song "Don't walk away" but I don't think that made it on a CD. Not totally sure though.

But overall if Nick didn't exist in the Backstreet Boys then I think they would be.....Incomplete.....yeah....yeah....I'm sure everyone saw that coming but I couldn't help it. :)

So that concludes my post about Nick and the things I like about him. I hope you enjoyed it.

Stay tuned for the 2nd installment of my "Thankful for BSB" blogs that will feature none other than the "Bad Boy" of the group AJ......
