Looking back on the things I've done...(The year that was 2012)

So another year has come and gone. It was a pretty good year for the most part. I got to experience some pretty amazing things with some pretty amazing people. Some of the things I never thought were possible even in my wildest dreams. Definitely Crazy. There was also sad times, loss and heartache. But like every other year we only got one life to live so you gotta take the good with the bad and keep on living.

Highlights of 2012.

*Donnie Klang*
First I went to Brooklyn, NY with Giselle and Mary to see Donnie Klang perform(except not really.lol) It started out scary. I took an 8 hour bus ride from here to NYC and on my bus I was surrounded by a bunch of guys who got out of jail. haha Luckily I made it okay. I had lots of fun at Giselle's house. Even if she won't let me have her little dog.LOL Giselle: That's where the trade center used to be. Me: Cool....I mean...lol"  Donnie's club appearance was quite the experience. He came out 39493 hours later. While we waited Mary thought we should have some Blue Mother Fuckers....not something I recommend. I dunno what they put in those drinks but they fucked me and Giselle(especially Giselle) up. It was crazy. I was gone off of two. hahaha Giselle may or may not have lost a pair of shoes that day. Fun stuff...let's do it again some time just not in Brooklyn and no Blue Mother Fuckers this time. LOL

I saw Donnie again in April at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY with Shannon and Chy. It was quite interesting to really be the only fans there who didn't actually attend the college. But it was fun anyways. He sang Happy Birthday to me because it was like a week before my birthday. He's funny.

*Backstreet Boys*

I only saw the Backstreet Boys twice in 2012 but those 2 times were some of the greatest moments/times of my life.

First I saw the boys with New Kids on the Block as NKOTBSB at Mixtape festival in Hershey, PA. in August. It was 2 day music festival with a softball game on the third day.  Definitely the best weekend ever in the history of weekends...like ever. LOL

I made some of the best memories because of those boys(mostly Brian-no surprise there I'm sure) with some of the best friends. Seriously I have been blessed with some of the best friends because of those boys. Friends I will have forever, who even have other similar interests besides just the boys. I owe those boys. (But don't tell them that ;) lol)

There were 2 moments that stick out the most from that weekend.

1. At the BSB BBQ when Brian convinced me more than ever that he really does see everything on twitter. He also convinced me that he does read my ridiculousness on twitter as well. But I apologized for that. (For a while I was convinced he didn't really read his timeline and that he just scrolled past it, tweeted some stuff, replied to fans and then moved along. But I was obviously wrong.) Not sure how I feel knowing that he knows that I love his facial hair or his DKNY hat. But I kind of like the fact that he was thinking about me while shaving. ;) *dies*  And when that man called me by name I might have died a little more that day. LOL

His little message to me about the haters just might have been the icing on an already beautiful cake though. ;)

Love this picture and the people in it. <3

2. This is definitely a moment I will NEVER forget. Having the man you have loved since you were about 12 years old sing to you on stage in front of a lot of people is one of the best feelings in the world. <3

I still owe Mary about 1,001 thank you's for coming to the Wylee party and standing there for what seemed like about a hundred hours. haha (But I couldn't disobey my father's orders. ;) lol) But honestly, going to that Wylee party was the best decision ever. So thank you, thank you, thank you Mary...and Brian. ;) Plus we got to see some other things that did or did not happen right Mary? bahahahahhahahahaha

About 2 weeks later I went to NYC to see the boys on Good Morning America. This was their first official performance back with Kevin. So awesome to be there live. They had a rehearsal the day before. It was a lot of fun. Got to see some awesome people all while seeing my favorite boys, can't get any better than that really.

favorite boys.

the icing on this awesome cake was Brian signing my favorite picture from being on stage with him. (Thanks again Danielle for that picture. hehehehehe)

Some other favorite moments of 2012.

This video. I love it. So thoughtful. Thanks again Giselle. I love it. I die a little bit each time I hear Brian say my name. I wish I was lying about that though. Thanks to Mary too for making me feel like I was at these events when I'm not. ;)

2012 was a great year for twitter too. Brian followed me. Definitely didn't expect it. Still kind of don't believe it. But I'll take it. ;)  Here's some of my favorite tweets from him from the past year. He's such a creeper at times on twitter but its funny so its okay. LOL

And lastly, the not so good that happened in 2012. I lost my cousin Joe in October. It's never easy losing a loved one but its even worse when its unexpected and they are young and have a family and still have lots of life left to live. I miss you Joe and you will forever be in my heart. :(  <3 Gone without Goodbye <3
(I wanna share this not only because it describes my feelings towards my cousin but also because Brian sang it beautifully at these shows and his speech was amazing as well.)

But overall it was a pretty amazing year but I can't wait to see what 2013 has in store.

To anyone who was a part of my 2012 I want to thank you. Both the good people/things and the bad people/things. The good people/things were a blessing the bad people/things were a lesson.  At the end of the day just remember life is short so live it now and live it well.
