I flew from Buffalo to Vegas(with a stop in Philly and LA.) Made it to Vegas on Feb 27th late. Met up with Marge and we got lost(sort of) in the Vegas airport which turned out to be okay because we ran into Howie. Not a bad a way to start out our Vegas vacation.
Now onto why most are probably reading this....the actual show. It was AMAZING! The production, the costumes, the songs, the dances, the dancers and lets not forget the boys. It was VERY well put together. I know some don't want spoilers so I won't share the songs they sing but I was good with the set list minus the 1 song I wish they'd stop performing forever. (And no it's not I want it that way. LOL) I'm not sure if every show will have little differences or not because a things(props, costumes, ect.) changed from opening night to the 2nd night. But I know sometimes things don't always run smoothly on opening night so that could be it. Anyways, for the first show I was in section 103 row C and the 2nd show I was in the (left) pit. I prefer the pit but honestly it doesn't seem like there's a bad seat in that place.
I did VIP/Meet-n-Greet both days. The first day as expected it was a hot mess and unorganized but eventually they seemed to have gotten their shit together. Someone said there was about 150 VIPs the first night but to me it seemed like a lot more but I'm not sure. It was sort of rushed but really at the end of the day it is what you make it. You got to hug each of the boys and say something to each of them(unless of course a certain boy *I'm looking at you Brian* distracted you from that. LOL) And then you take the picture and they whisk you away, until Kevin calls you back to inform you that you didn't hug him. Well Mr. Richardson, if you insist. ;) I've had a lot of fans ask if I think VIP is worth it and I'm sort of on the fence about it. If you've never met them I say do it if you can, Even if you have met them it can be fun and it sometimes seems like you get a few extra moments with them if they "know" you or recognize you, at least that's how it seems to me. But you only live once so if you think its worth it and can then I say go for it! They won't let you bring gifts in for the boys, they'll make you check them at the door in the little coat room thing and give you a ticket to get it at the end of the show.
It's funny to me because I don't do it on purpose but some how I always seem to manage to forget to say something to one of the boys during the Meet-n-Greet. Sometimes I'll admit its because I have Littrell vision and tend to talk to him more but sometimes it's not even because of that. The first M&G Brian was first and he hugged me asked me about a video I posted that he saw which was super hilarious. We talked about a few other things, then he told me he liked my BSB hoodie which made AJ say "Yeah me too." And then we took the picture then I went down the line and hugged Nick and Howie.
The 2nd M&G I told Brian how it was stupid that I had stuff for him and couldn't bring it in. He said he was sorry. AJ liked my shirt. Brian and AJ both commented that they liked my sneakers. I actually hugged all the boys this time but don't remember saying anything to them except Brian and AJ. LOL
But those 5 boys are seriously 5 of the most humbled, kind, giving, down to earth people I have ever met. So blessed to be a fan.
It seemed for the 1st show at least that a lot of fans didn't know about the VIP lounge thing or they didn't have time to use it but it got better the 2nd night so I'm sure as the shows roll on it'll get better and better. They had drinks and snacks and I thought I heard someone say there was a cake but I never got a chance to see it.
I always hope they will add Siberia to the set list but every tour I get let down because they don't. But this show they do 3 of my top 5 favorite songs so that's a plus. :)
I also just gotta say that Brian Thomas Littrell you seriously are AMAZING. (If you happen to read this) ALL of the boys sounded incredible and while I'm not trying to discredit the other 4 boys most fans know about the vocal struggles that Brian has been having as of late but my goodness he sounded INCREDIBLE in Vegas. I had tears of joy. So proud of that man. The fact he has put so much into this fight and isn't backing down says so much about the character he is as human being. He inspires me so much to never give up on anything no matter how tough it may seem. Hard work does pay off and don't for one second Brian that it has gone unnoticed because it hasn't. Keep up the amazing work. YOU ROK!
The after party was a little crazy. I only went because Brian told me he'd be there. And he kept his word and he was there. I've had fans ask me if I know if he'll go to more and I don't know that answer. If I had to guess I would say no, but who knows maybe he'll surprise the fans and go to some more. All the boys were up on the little bar thing in the VIP area, fans who were up close were able to snag some selfies with the guys. But all the pushing and shoving and whatever else isn't really worth it to me. But if that's your kind of fun go for it.
Vegas over all was a lot of fun. I can't wait to go back in April to see the show again for my birthday.
If we are friends on Facebook/instagram/twitter then you have seen some of my pics posted. Hope you enjoyed them along with this blog. :)
*I tried to add pictures to this only it wouldn't let me for some reason. So I'll try again later. For now hopefully everyone enjoys my blog anyways without some pictures.*
